They don't look all that starving and pitiable to me, Armaeus... Beasts eat other beasts! Some do it more than others (coughHouseDomitiancough). They still need to eat souls to survive but can definitely fill up on neighbors and coworkers if they're feeling it. It's just like eating popcorn. Popcorn with bones! Crunchy!

    oooh I really like the teeth of these guys- like a cross between a canid and a horse. the fella on the left in the last panel with his dainty incisors is just beautiful
